Where do I go once I get there?

There is a main entrance at both the east and west ends of the building.  When you arrive you will be warmly greeted and given any direction or help you may need to find your way to the worship center, nursery, bathrooms, etc.  Our hospitality greeters will meet you and direct you to the right classrooms or service.

What are services like?

The Sunday School and Adult Bible Fellowship time offers smaller classes for all ages from newborns to those in their nineties.  This time focuses on searching the Bible for answers and building into the lives of others who are facing life situations just like you.

The Sunday Morning Worship service consists of singing and the practical teaching of the Word of God.  We believe you will find a welcoming, friendly group of people who would love for you to come along with us as we search God’s Word to discover more about who He is and how He wants us to live.  We do not single out guests; we want you to feel comfortable.  Please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering as a guest.  We want to serve you and offer you a place to grow in your relationship with God.  We encourage everyone to “check us out” for at least three weeks to get better feel for who we are.

What should I wear?

There is not any type of dress code at Calvary Baptist for its members or guests.  The person sitting next to you in worship may wear a suit and tie or jeans, so come as you are!

What about my kids?

We provide nurseries for children up through age three at our Sunday services; you can expect a safe, clean environment that is staffed by trained and screened workers.  Children age four through seniors in high school have age specific Sunday School classes they attend during the 9:45 hour.  These children then join their parents for the first part of the morning worship service.  Part way through the worship service, the boys and girls ages four through eight are dismissed to a room across the hallway from the auditorium where they have their own age-appropriate Bible story.
